Kathryn began exploring this ancient art/science in the 1990s and is a current student of Dr. Jes T. Y. Lim, a well-known feng shui master in Europe, Australasia, and North America.

Kathryn is familiar with basic feng shui principles — the ba gua, five elemental energies, yin/yang, and Eight Life Aspirations, to name a few plus various aspects of several schools, including compass (East/West System), form (landscape), and Black Hat Sect. She is a certified Qi-Mag Feng Shui Consultant and has a diploma in Feng Shui Architectural Home Design.

In addition, Kathryn’s metaphysical education has been extensive. Since 1989 she’s studied dream interpretation, the I-Ching, tarot, energy healing, the chakra system, and overtone chanting. Her teachers have included Maria Elena Cairo, Sharon Franquemont, Brugh Joy, Anodea Judith, Jill Purce, Selene Vega, and Christine Waddell.

Moreover, Kathryn possesses a groundedness and sensitivity that stems from a strong spiritual practice of daily yoga and meditation, complemented by ongoing classes in tai chi and chi kung as well as regular communion with nature.

Kathryn is a member of the International Feng Shui Guild and serves clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She welcomes every opportunity to travel for work and pleasure.
